
Richard Donohoe leads J.S. Held’s Energy Practice. Richard brings 30 years of domestic and international project development experience and advisory in the Oil, Gas, Energy, Finance, Mining, and Defense technology markets. He leads J.S. Held’s North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and resilience and compliance Program Management Office (PMO) offerings for key customers.
Experience ranges from technology development, complex data informatics & business intelligence to regulatory and governance, fusion of complex weather, geologic, and information processes for upstream, midstream and downstream facilities and petro-chemical processing.
He advises on safety, security, telecommunications, technology, people, process, finance, and governance at the corporate restructuring level, enabling customers to respond to impacts by regulations from state and federal entities.
Richard’s projects have included strategy and implementation for PMO activities, change and communications processes, metrics reporting, utility organizational realignment recommendations, asset management services, and development of documentation to Federal, State, and National Security regulatory related agencies for pipeline and naval operations.
He has developed a full-range security risk and resilience services for power, water, oil, gas, and mining verticals, as well as buy-side and sell-side advisory for portfolio risk assessments.
